Arts CreativeConcerns itself with any and all aspects of needlework, fine arts, crafts and baking. Decorates for our functions and takes care of Achievement Day.
Arts PerformingEncourages participation in drama and musical events, literature, and creative writing.
CommunicationsCommittee provides all publicity concerning the club, submits articles, sometimes with photos, to the local papers on a regular basis.
ConservationConcerned with environmental protection, community beautification, floral artistry, and gardening. Also helps with Achievement Day and orders wreaths and flowers for various occasions.
Concerns itself with scholarships, safety, and babysitting clinic.
Home Life/Social Service
Concerns itself with volunteer service, donations to charities, health, family living, and consumer awareness, holiday party at Dumont and Operation Candy/Cookie.
Concerns itself with international aid, cultural exchange, federation projects and other charities.
Public IssuesEncourages patriotism and participation in civic affairs.
Court-Appointed Special Advocates
CASA of NJ provides a voice for abused and neglected children by empowering a statewide network of local CASA programs serving all 21 counties of NJ. Dedicated community volunteers advocate in Family Court for the best interests of children in foster care to ensure their safety and well-being, and ultimately, their placement in nurturing, permanent homes with loving families.
The Audit Committee reviews the club’s accounts annually between July 1st and September 30th.
The club meets and discusses books that they have read. *July's book is Force of Nature by Jane Harper.
Committee is responsible for all additions, deletions, revisions and must review By-Laws every five years.
Community Improvement Program
The CIP Committee supervises the selection and implementation of the CIP project, records progress and submits required reports. This is a two year project.
Domestic Violence Prevention
Concerns itself with educating and informing people about abusive relationships.
The Finance Committee, consisting of the Second Vice President, Treasurer, and at least two other members, shall propose the budget for the club and is responsible for the club’s fundraising.
Committee recruits, organizes and plans dinner group.
Committee takes care of our scrap book and our club’s history.
MembershipCommittee promotes recruiting new members and keeps up to date records of members.
